Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this programme for?

This e-Learning programme has been designed to give clinicians and the wider commissioning team an introduction to the concepts and processes involved in collaborative clinical commissioning. Whilst providing CCG board members with the information they need in order to lead on commissioning, the programme also contains useful information for CCG GP members, Consultants, Specialists and Practice Managers.

How are the modules assessed?

Each module is split into sections, with a short self assessment at the end of each section to enable you to test yourself on the information presented. On completion of each module, you are then required to complete a post module assessment. The pass mark for the post module assessment is 70%.

Must I take all the modules or complete them in order?

This programme is designed to support you in understanding those areas of the commissioning process with which you are less familiar. You can therefore select those modules of most relevance and complete modules in any order.

What are the system requirements for running the course?

The course has been designed to run on a basic computer set-up to make it as widely accessible as possible, however it has been optimised for FireFox, Safari and Internet Explorer 8. If you are accessing training from your own computer, you can download the latest version of these browsers free of charge.

Please note that some videos have been included as supporting resources, however they are the property of other organisations and not hosted by Commissioning Place, therefore we cannot guarantee accessibility.

Can I purchase bulk licenses for my institution?
